Our Story

Atrium Dental was established in 2004 by Dr. Shahyar “Sean” Foroughi, D.D.S., who began practicing dentistry in 2000 after earning his degree from UCSF and completing advanced hospital-based training. His goal was to create a practice where patients receive high-quality care without confusion or feeling rushed.

From the start, the focus has been clear communication, careful treatment, and long-term trust. The practice was built to help patients understand their care and feel comfortable at every visit.

In 2005, Dr. Baharak “Sarah” Foroughi, D.D.S., joined after earning her degree from UCLA School of Dentistry. She brought a calm, patient-focused approach that strengthened the team.

Today, Atrium Dental provides complete care in general dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, implants, Invisalign, CEREC crowns, and emergency treatments in one location.

Dr. Shahyar Foroughi is owner and lead dentist at Atrium Dental in Ahwatukee. He earned his DDS from UCSF in 2000 and graduated Magna Cum Laude in Biological Sciences from USC in 1995. He has practiced since 2000 and leads the clinic since 2004, with residency training in 2001 and expertise in comprehensive and cosmetic dentistry.
